Eva Van Langenhoven is a Belgian visual artist working under the name Klikteef.

Photography is usually where things begin, but rarely where they end. Her work moves between photography, self-portraiture, textile and handmade objects, often growing out of curiosity, personal rituals and temporary obsessions.

She is drawn to the things we use to become — or dare to become — someone else: costumes, idols, traditions, inherited stories and small acts of transformation. Her work often balances humour with vulnerability, allowing the strange, tender and slightly absurd to sit comfortably beside one another.

Klikteef is both a name and a permission: a space to be braver, louder and more curious than usual.
